More dining options for half board guests

We are pleased to inform our half board guests that they now have three options to enjoy their evening meal. Apart from the Panorama Restaurant half board guests can also enjoy their dinner at the Reef Bar & Grill or the Kyklos Greek Restaurant by pre-booking at the reception desk .

The Kyklos Greek Restaurant is owned and managed by the Sunrise Beach and is located on the main Protaras strip only 200 metres or a short stroll from the hotel.

Renovations

As most of you are aware, the Sunrise Beach Hotel has benefited from a thorough renovation, with significant improvements made to all the guest rooms, bathrooms, as well as the public areas.

As the comfort of our guests is our top priority, we will continue to improve our services and facilities to provide the high level of excellence, which the guests of our hotel have become accustomed to.

We are delighted to inform you that some of the improvements you can look forward to this summer will include our resurfaced squash court and fully renovated toilets located close to the Oasis pool bar. Once you have worked up an appetite, you will be able to savor our new extensive buffets at the renovated Panorama Restaurant, which will include live cooking areas for your enjoyment.

World Cup 2010

The World Cup in South Africa is fast approaching and we are delighted to inform our guests that the Reef Bar and Grill will be showing LIVE in English commentary all the games. With five big screens and both indoor and outdoor seating areas, a wide selection of beers and large flame grilled dishes, the Reef is the ideal place to follow all the action of the 2010 Fifa World Cup.

Environmentally Friendly

We are proud to announce that our environment policies have been widely recognized and we have received the following awards/certification:

1. Eco label certification: this renowned EU certification has acknowledged our steps taken in the selection of raw materials, the efficient use of energy and water, the reduction of polluting emissions, as well as the recycling of materials.

2. The Cyprus Sustainable Tourism Initiative, funded by the Travel Foundation, awarded our hotel for achieving the best results amongst all the hotels in Cyprus in 2008 for “Water and Energy Saving”.

3. The Thomson Green Medal Award in 2006 and the Green Planet Award in 2007 from Kuoni Travel, Switzerland, in recognition of the hotel’s commitment and achievement in environmental management and good practice.

Price Freeze on Food & Beverages

We are pleased to inform you that once again, we will not be increasing our food & beverage prices in 2010 in any of the restaurants and bars. In fact, most of these prices will remain the same for the fourth year running.
